Guests at the lodge can enjoy fishing nearby, or make the most of the garden. Such a lovely location. We stayed in a building away from the main house but we went to the house for breakfast in the morning. Peter was a very good host and lent us (together with another two couples staying there) his car to drive into town to have dinner at the pub. Peter made fresh bread for breakfast which was delicious. Wifi was available at the house and surrounds but I'm not sure about where we were staying - we didn't try, we were happy just to soak up the beautiful countyside.

Mahu Whenua consists of 5 luxury suites. Surrounded by high country sheep stations, the property is only a 20-minute drive from central Wanaka. A heated outdoor swimming pool, spa and free private parking on site is offered. Heavenly location and wonderful staff - felt warmly welcomed and looked after the moment we drove up! Love the ethos of the place and very much rested after our stay there.

Location was great, especially if you're looking to relax and just chill. Hot tub in the late evening is just awe inspiring.

BBQ, full kitchen and laundry for self catering. Sleeps up to 9, so is ideal for larger families and groups of friends. All linen supplied. It's cosy, clean and have everything that I need especially in the kitchen.
