Berne's hostel is an excellent choice. It is not a hostel it is a resort. Stocked mini fridge, pool, quiet rooms, internet. Location is excellent as it is within walking distance of all the activities in Moalboal and only a scooter ride from the White Sand Beach. Would definitely stay again. 👍

Despite our luck with the weather, Sambag Hideaway was located in a great location, 10mins away from the busy main beach. We could hangout in the bar area, with hammocks and huts, enjoying the thunderstorm. The host was also amazing, giving us local tips and suggestions for places to visit and local guides so we felt we were in safe hands. The best was her suggestion of getting a transfer from Moalboal to Oslob to see the whale sharks then getting the ferry to Panglao, something we didn't know about prior to visiting and was worth getting up at 4.30am for. Thanks for the great time, loved every minute of it

We absolutely loved our stay at Astillo's and would recommend it to anyone without a doubt. It's a cozy, homely and peaceful place, where you can relax but also meet other travellers. The owners Arlyn and Theo are absolute gems. We had awesome conversations with Theo everyday, he is German like us. But he was as welcoming and caring to all the other guests as well. He really tries to make your stay as comfortable as can be, gives great advice about all the various activities around Moalboal, where to buy the best fruits and so on. The room was spacious, very clean and well equiped with a comfy bed, clean sheets and towels. The bathroom (we had our private bathroom) was also very clean and nice. AC and Wifi worked without problems. The garden is perfectly maintained and so nice with beautiful lights at night and lots of space to sit and relax. We enjoyed breakfast everyday, which was delicious, generous and very affordable. Coffee, tea and water is provided for free. You can also rent scooters directly from them for a good price. We extended our stay by two nights because we loved it so much and were really sad to finally say goodbye.

The bed is comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, food outside is expensive, and it can help you save a lot. The garden is well-maintained. Very safe, there's a guard at night.

The property was in a very ideal location close to all the resteraunts and beach. The room was ideal, very clean and comfortable. The hosts were really welcoming and friendly.

This is one of the best places I've stayed in the Philippines, for the balance between price and quality. Service was excellent, the room was large and clean and comfortable, the price was excellent. Pool was spotless. Location is fine. It's 3-5 mins on a scooter to get into the area with restaurants/dive shops, and they make it very easy rent one from them. They're also able to book airport transfer taxis etc.
