I would happily recommend this place to others. The rooms were clean and fresh. There were toiletries to use which are handy when travelling light for a long weekend trip, along with a fridge and hairdryer. The pool and gym were great if you have the time. The location is spot on, you are right in the centre and there is no noise. We didn't use the restaurant however did grab a drink downstairs on arrival as we were a bit early for check in. The staff were great, really helpful and suggested some nice walks close by. We used the bag storage to go and explore while we waited for check in. If you fancy a bit of history, check out the ruins on the bottom floor, won't take too long but interesting to see. Thanks for a great stay! Will definitely return.

Bruges was quite busy (very touristy) and this wasn't even the peak of the holiday season. It's an attractive city and therefore, understandably popular, but I found Ghent surprisingly more friendly.
Bruges needs to get its act together and emulate Ghent's excellent Visitor Guide books (printed in the main European languages).

Bruges is a gorgeous place.
Bruges is a gorgeous place. The architecture and buildings are beautiful. There is lots to do, from museums to canal boat tours, horse and carriage rides, guided walking tours and lots of good shops. A good variety of restaurants and bars, we found the food very good and people very friendly. Our journey from the UK via Euro tunnel was so easy, and finding Bruges by car was super easy.
Will definitely be back.

If you're from Europe you're probably used to picturesque old towns, but Bruges will charm you even so. It really feels like it's frozen in time (apart of course from all the touristy shops and the crowds). It's best to visit off-season, but ideally with decent weather.
The museum pass is definitely worth it, as without visiting the museums there's not much to do if you stay more than a day.
The restaurants are very expensive, and depending on if you like Belgian food might not be worth it. What is worth it though are the beers, which you definitely should take a moment to try in one of the several local pubs with cozy atmosphere.

One of my favorite and most romantic cities in Europe.
One of my favorite and most romantic cities in Europe. I love it, this was not my first time and I hope I will be back soon. This small town has lots of great places to eat, Michelin star restaurants, shopping . Town filled with history. Very easy to get around, walkable , don’t need a car. Just lovely, a picturesque view around every corner.
Luc was a lovely B&B host who was very accommodating to our needs during our stay. The bed was SO comfortable. The bathroom with bathtub was large; as was the bedroom. The room and hotel were very clean. Located close to center, but on a quiet street of a canal. We did not hear any noise from the neighboring rooms or the street. Everything was just as described in the listing. Breakfast was good; everything you need to start the day. Would recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to Bruges
Great location (walking distance to the historic city center) and we had a room with canal view which was nice. The room was exactly as pictured, beds were comfortable and clean, the breakfast was delicious and staff were friendly and always willing to help or answer any questions. We booked their garage (as we arrived by car) which is some 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Overall great place to stay if you want to see Bruges attractions
We stay at this hotel quite often, it is the best hotel in Bruges for sure and just to be sure, we have stayed in all of the other nice hotels in Bruges, but we now always come back to Hotel De Orangerie. Breakfast on the canal, perfect, wine in the lounge next to the fire, dreamy. The whole place is beautifully decorated, and the beds are very comfortable. It's right in the heart of the town, simply nowhere else to stay but here!
You really can't beat the location of this hotel - smack in the center of Brugge. Try hard to get a market view room. It was magically looking out onto the square. We were there over Belgium's national holiday, so there was a concert in the square. While it was loud and we weren't able to sleep until it was over, it was like we had our own personal concert. The rooms were modern and super clean. I'd 100% stay here again.
10/10, 5 stars! What an incredible hotel. Mark was an incredible host, providing suggestions both for Bruges but also neighboring cities. The view from the upper floors was phenomenal, breakfast was beyond incredible. Location was about 10 min walk from the city center which made for a very quiet sleep but easily accessible to restaurants and sites.
Beautiful building with a lovely garden. The breakfast was good as well. Compared to the prices in Brugge city centre the price value ratio was good. it is about a 15 minute car ride from Bruges. If you don’t have a car or bikes this may not be your best option if the reason of your stay is to visit Bruges.
I brought my husband to Belgium for his birthday and we were also traveling with our 3-year-old golden retriever. Very accommodating staff! The room was extremely clean and the hotel was in a perfect area. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see! Plan to visit again with our family.
The best aspect of this hotel was the breakfast. It was very good. The location was about ten minutes walk from the centre square of Bruges so not too bad but we would have preferred something closer. The ground floor reception, bar and breakfast area were nicely appointed.
The Hotel is situated in the center of Bruges, near the Belfort tower. It's a big city hotel, where also bus companies arrive, so the hotel is very crowdy (particularly in the breakfast restaurant). The room is good standard the personell is friendly and helpful.
Good location with cheap car parking facilities.
Ideal for short walk or taxi into the historical centre of Bruges.
Hotel is nice, clean and modern.
The young woman on reception was incredibly polite, helpful and really made a great welcome to our stay.
Good location, 10/15 minute walk to the historic centre of Bruges.
Comfortable for a short stay, much more space than a hotel room.
Frederick the host was very welcoming and flexible about check in when our situation changed at the last minute.
The hotel is absolutely stunning. Beautiful room, very comfortable and gorgeously decorated, delicious breakfast with plenty of options and located ideally at the very center of Bruges. Perfect, through and through.
Best hotel I have been in , in Bruges. Room was excellent with very good beds and a nice bathroom. (Rituals products)
Breakfast is simply outstanding. It is not cheap but worth its value.
