Try to wake up early and walk in the ghats or take a boat ride. It's too hot during the day, hence take rest in a cool place during the day and go out again at evening. Walk at Godhulia. explore places in Bengoli Tola. Dine in at the restaurants at the riverside. Travel. Enjoy your life.

Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir was the reason we went to Varanasi but we discovered more & more with each passing day. More Mandir, more stories and more discoveries.
The city never ceases to surprise you. Narrow streets, zillion shops, food all around and so many faces, you just cant stop getting overwhelmed. This city cant be absorbed in a single lifetime.
A must visit once in a life.
But yes, be prepared for CRAZY traffic because of Locals + Tourists.

If you’re planning a trip to India, one destination that...
If you’re planning a trip to India, one destination that absolutely must be on your itinerary is Varanasi. As the oldest inhabited city in the world and a sacred place for Hindus, Varanasi offers a profound experience that bridges the gap between past and present. The city’s timeless ambiance immerses you in history while maintaining a vibrant connection to contemporary life. Its bustling streets, teeming with people and infused with chaotic energy, add an undeniable charm to this enigmatic city.
Varanasi is a treasure trove of culture and tradition, offering visitors a deeper understanding of Indian faiths, religions, and society. From the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremonies on the ghats to the labyrinthine lanes of the old city, every corner of Varanasi tells a story of spiritual significance and cultural richness. Exploring its ancient temples, engaging with local rituals, and witnessing the ebb and flow of life along the sacred Ganges River are experiences that will stay with you long after you’ve left.
Moreover, Varanasi’s culinary scene is a delight for food enthusiasts, offering a diverse array of flavors and delicacies that tantalize the taste buds. Whether savoring mouthwatering street food or indulging in traditional Banarasi cuisine, every meal in Varanasi is a culinary adventure.
In essence, a visit to Varanasi is not just a journey through space, but also through time and spirituality. It’s an immersion into the essence of India, where ancient traditions coexist harmoniously with modern realities, leaving an indelible mark on the soul of every traveler.

Varanasi is a pilgrimage city, heritage city with a history...
Varanasi is a pilgrimage city, heritage city with a history of 3000 years. It has a very special appeal and charms to Indians and for foreigners willing to explore India. For me it was a memory revisited after more than 50 years. Varanasi is a place to experience spiritual -the temples, Ganga Aarati, evening cruise - to happy indulgences - famous eateries of so many varieties, shops for souvenirs, Varanasi sarees and everything else, all within a small place.
However, the surging and unmanageable crowd coupled with absolutely chaotic and undisciplined traffic that do not allow even a bit of personal space bore one down very soon.
Well, still it's an experience to enjoy it to the full.

Standard rooms space are very uncomfortable and unable to adjust for longer period of time . It can be more spacious as per price of the room . Also other facilities like internet , service were not at par excellence.
Excellent. Best view you will get of the Ganges for a budget traveller.
Staff are very friendly and hospitable to any enquiry you have.
Food is cooked from scratch. It’s top notch and fresh. Tasty.
It’s India so rooms can be a little “different” but overall it’s a great deal.
There is a private “shared” balcony for a couple of rooms and a big communal balcony for everyone in the hotel.
I would advise you to book if you travel on a budget and like a friendly atmosphere.
This hotel is located in one of the best hotspots of the city of Varanasi just 5 minutes walking to the most famous Ghat, the Dashashwamedh. Also there is a lot of shops nearby like souvenir shops, convenience stores and street food. Managers are always helpful for any enquiry and staff friendly and very helpful anytime. From the receptionis to the housekeepers, an 11 over 10.
I liked most of the part, location is good you can reach everywhere every thing at walking distance of 1or2 km . The staff was lovely and they treat everyone very kindly. My train was 8 hour late and it was 3 am they still opened the door. Their hosting was flawless loved it. Thank you for stay.. la vaca varanasi india and mr. Faiz.
The hotel is fine, just too expensive for what is was. The location is horrible, far away from Varanasi in a very dirty village. Really very dirty, I was shocked to see the location of this hotel. I have traveled a lot in India but this was one of the filthy's places I ever went, you need a car otherwise you are stuck in the hotel.
We had a three day stay here..The place is amazing..
The hotel staff is very friendly..One of the best location of Varanasi ..Everything is nearby..It's 5 min walk from Assi ghat and all the good restaurants like Potli Batti Chokha is nearby..
It is 2 km from BHU ....The rooms along with washrooms are very clean...
The room rate paid was high relative to the hotel and class of amenities. Somehow with this tariff even breakfast which is a standard feature was not included and separate rates were applicable for buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner which was high for a location like Varanasi. This was informed to us at check in.
Amazing hotel. Family owned so exceptional service. They organised a massage and yoga for me. Located close to the main ghat. The food was awesome. Their willingness to help make our stay in Varanasi the best possible was not taken for granted. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s gorgeous 360 view rooftop
I came to India from Georgia for exploring India Varanasi, the place so peaceful, as per hotel was wondering rooms , and location was wonderful, the hotel provides me spacious room's because I am international and it's decent place to stay for foreigners people

This place is amazing. It is safe and comfy spot in mess called Varanasi. Restaurant on roof is great. Hostel even provide guides along city (food tour was best). In India we had many terrible hostels, but this place is gift from heaven
the best option you could choose for a budget hotel in Varanasi. Centrally located just a few steps away from the main Ghat and the market. Breakfast was very good also and the staff super helpful and friendly.
You can’t go wrong
